Billy Wayne Flowers, Sr., 70, of Oak Ridge, Texas passed away on December 1, 2021. He was born on April 12, 1951, in Gainesville, Texas to J.C. Flowers, Sr and Sammie (Kelley) Flowers. Billy proudly served his country and was a disabled veteran. He enjoyed fishing, watching TV, trips to Galveston, family and he loved his mother and father dearly. Billy loved to dance, laugh, eat, and spend time with his children and grandchildren.

Billy is survived by his children; Tenna Tennon, Katrina Flowers, Christopher Flowers and Billy Wayne Flowers, Jr., siblings, Donna Henry (JC), J.C. Flowers, Jr., Barbara Johnson, Linda Flowers, Saundra Govee, Evelyn Patton, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Flowers.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas. Funeral service will also be held at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, on December 10, 2021, at 2:00 pm, with Bro. Frank Loren officiating. Interment following the service at Fairview Cemetery.
