February 11, 1956 –  October 14, 2010  Funeral services for Valley View resident Barron Collins, 54, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2010 at First Baptist Church Valley View with Rev. Glen Kersey, Pastor of First Baptist Valley View officiating. Interment will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Clement-Keel Funeral Home
Mr. Collins died October 14, 2010 at his residence. He was born February 11, 1956 in Dallas, Texas to Gene Paul and Joyce Ann (Shumpert) Collins. Barron married Angela Gregston April 12, 2003 in Whitesboro. He was a Copier Repair Service Technician for Xerox for 26 years, servicing Cooke, Montague, Wise and part of Denton counties. Barron served in the US Army and was a member of First Baptist Church Valley View.

Survivors of Barron Collins include his wife, Angie Collins of Valley View; daughters, Elise Royale Collins of Big Sandy and Dawn Marie Collins of Big Sandy; sisters, Nancy E. Hemati of Austin and Gena Ann Martinez of Dallas; brother, Boyd Patton Collins of Irving and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents.
