Larry Lee Sparkman, 75, of Myra, Texas passed away on October 17, 2020 in Denton, Texas. He was born on November 3, 1944 in Muenster, Texas to Samuel Sparkman and Inez (Ramsey) Sparkman.
The family will have a graveside service at a later date.
He married Lorettha Page on December 6, 1979 in Gainesville, Texas. He was a welder by trade and manufactured trailers. The biggest thrill of his life these days was watching his grandkids play ball.
He is survived by his wife, Lorettha Page Sparkman; sons, Larry Shane Sparkman and wife, Breezy, Lance Lee Sparkman and wife, Dacya; daughter, Krystel Greer and husband, Chad; brother, Sam Sparkman and wife, Peggy. Grandchildren; Chad Greer Jr., Kyle Greer, Morgan Greer, Ashlyn Sparkman, Gage Sparkman, Christopher Taylor and Justin Sparkman.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda Gayle; daughter, Sheila Beth; son, Franklin Edwards and infant son, Stephen Sparkman.
In support of our local, state, and federal government including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, social distancing and the wearing of masks while attending the funeral services and visitation will be observed.
