July 12, 1947 –  October 7, 2016  Funeral Services for William Leroy Sinclair, 69, of Collinsville, Texas, will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Collinsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 11th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He passed away in Denton, Friday, October 7, 2016 with his loving family by his side.He was born to William Loyd “Mutt” Sinclair and Nannie Belle (Cox) Sinclair on July 12, 1947 in Whitesboro, Texas. He married Kathy Prince on June 9, 1973 in Collinsville, Texas. He retired from Peterbilt Motors in Denton after 35 years of service. Leroy was a Mason in Whitesboro and a Past Worthy Patron of Eastern Star and was of the Baptist faith. He loved to fish, dove hunt, camp and attend bluegrass festivals with his wife. He was in the Air Force having served in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy of Collinsville; mother, Belle Sinclair of Tioga; son, Eddie Sinclair of Collinsville and daughter, Jennifer Rice and husband, Gordan of Little Elm; sisters, Pat Walker and husband, Bob, of Gainesville, Donna Carney and husband, Grady and Johnette Mitchell and husband, Steve all of Collinsville and brother, Ted Sinclair of Tioga; grandchildren, Matt Linn and wife, Casey, A.J. Harris, Johnny Harris, Cailey Greer, Caden Sinclair, Carlee Sinclair, Savannah Rice and Tyler Rice; great granddaughter, Casey Gail Lancaster. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Webb, Cass Reasor, Randy Williams, Heath Roland, George Hammer, and Scott Prince.
He was preceded in death by his father, “Mutt” Sinclair and daughter, Tresa Harris.
