February 14, 1964 –  January 1, 2009  SHERMAN- Services for William David â??Daveâ? Roberts, Jr., 44, will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, January 5, 2009 at Meador Funeral Home chapel in Whitesboro with Reverend Doug Grissom officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion South Cemetery in Collinsville. The visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the funeral home.
Mr. Roberts passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2009 in Sherman.

Dave was born on February 14, 1964 in Sherman, Texas, to William David and Betty (Huckobey) Roberts. He was employed by Cardinal Glass in Durant, Oklahoma, as a production technician. Dave had a passion for reading. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1983 to 1987.

Survivors include father, Bill Roberts of Southmayd; mother, Betty Roberts of Sherman; two sisters, Tammy Roberts of Sherman and Lisa Hill of Southmayd; a brother, Leonard Roberts of Carrollton; 4 nieces, Taylor Hill, Haley Roberts, Sara Rocha and Cassidy Rocha; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
