August 17, 1935 –  December 20, 2008  COLLINSVILLE â?? Funeral Services for Wilbur Earl Haueter, 73, will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Marvin Lowry and Rev. Michael Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in Macomb Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 22, 2008 at the funeral home.
Wilbur went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.

He was born on Aug. 17, 1935 in Hanoverton, Ohio to Herman Haueter and Vera (Merriman) Haueter. He married Mary Lou Shively on Aug. 19, 1982 in Toledo, Ohio. Wilbur was a loving father. He was a member of Amazing Grace Pentecostal Church of God in Denison. Wilbur had served with the Sons of the Civil War and was currently employed by Bartels Trucking Company in Aubrey.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Haueter of Collinsville, children, Thomas James Haueter of Hanoverton, Ohio, Donald Earl Haueter of Princeton, Texas, Connie Sue Buckowski of Salem, Ohio, Robert Charles Haueter of Hanoverton, Ohio, Don Connors, Jr. of Maumee, Ohio, Cathy Oâ??Neal of Collinsville, Chuck Connors of Portage, Michigan, Kelly Knapp of Hanoverton, Ohio and Connie Clover of Gainesville, Texas, two sisters, Edith Ann Peterson of Riverside, Ohio and Mildred Louise Stabler of Hanoverton, Ohio, two brothers, Allan Lee Haueter of Hanoverton, Ohio and Victor Norman Haueter of Salem, Ohio, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, special friends, John and Donna Harrison and his beloved pet, Boy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Vera Haueter, one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Barnes, Randy Clover, Jr., Ronny Oâ??Neal, Jr., John Harrison, Robert Daniels and James Oâ??Neal.
