March 19, 1930 –  December 7, 2015  Funeral Services for Wayman Windle Chilcutt, 85, of Whitesboro, will be held Friday, December 11, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Whitesboro with Rev. Ken Hildebrand officiating, assisted by Rev. Micheal Burden. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas. He died Monday, December 7, 2015, at The Homestead in Sherman, Texas. He was born to Raymond S. (Bill) and Pauline (Wright) Chilcutt on March 19, 1930, in Weatherford, Texas. He married Betty Joyce (Hoke) Chilcutt on March 25, 1951, in Vernon, Texas. They were married for 64 years. He was Superintendent of Whitesboro Schools for 19 years and an educator for 33 years. He was a member of the Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, Texas Retired Teachers Association, was a Life member of TASA, TSTA, ATPE and was on the Board of Directors for Texoma Educators Federal Credit Union, RSVP and Crippled Children. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Whitesboro, Texas. He was also a Lay Speaker of the Methodist Church. He also was a realtor for many years. He is survived by his wife, Betty Chilcutt of Whitesboro; daughters, Patricia Mesker and husband, Jessie of Whitewright and Pam Burden and husband, Micheal of Conway, Arkansas; grandchildren, David Eldredge and wife, J.J. of Whitewright, Susan Barrett and husband, Jeremiah of Conway, Arkansas and John Wayman L. Burden and wife, Katie of Conway, Arkansas; sister, Venita Lindsey of Springtown, Texas; great-grandchildren, Cole Eldredge of Arkansas, Regan Eldredge of Whitewright and Jules Barrett of Conway, AR.Pallbearers will be Kyle Maynard, Barry Keller, Rickie Fielder, Ronnie Fielder, Charlie Cox, Bob Hargesheimer and John Yeargan. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmie T. McDonnell, Art McGuire and Bud Smith. He was preceded in death by his son, Windle Chilcutt and his parents, Raymond and Pauline Chilcutt.
