February 15, 1944 –  August 26, 2016  Celebration of Life Services for Truman Jerry Case, 72, of Whitesboro, Texas, will be held Monday, August 29, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Whitesboro, Texas, with Rev. Mike Flanagan officiating. Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro is in charge of cremation arrangements. He passed away at his home in Whitesboro, Friday, August 26, 2016, with his family by his side.He was born to T. J. and Sylvia (Edington) Trammell on February 15, 1944, in Gainesville, Texas. He was raised by H. L. and Sylvia Case. He married Sheree Shepherd Case September 26, 2004, in Whitesboro, Texas. Truman was a member of First Baptist Church, Whitesboro. He retired from the State of Texas in Risk Management in 2005. He owned and operated the Oil Spot in Whitesboro and loved to fish, ride his motorcycle and was an avid Texas Ranger fan. He was also a retired Richardson, Texas, firefighter.
He is survived by his wife, Sheree Case of Whitesboro; daughter, D’Ann and husband, Keith Caffey of Sadler; Baleigh White of Madill, Oklahoma and son, Baxter White of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Justin Caffey and wife, Joezy and Jerrid Caffey and wife, Kaci; great-grandchild, Case Caffey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, T. J. Trammell and H. L. and Sylvia Case; son, Duane Case and sister, Peggy Johns.
