December 8, 1927 –  February 15, 2015  WHITESBORO – Funeral services for Pansy Lorene Lemons, 87, will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., in the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Virgil Blaylock officiating. Interment will follow the services at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. All service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home. Visitation services will be held Tuesday, February 17, from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.She died on February 15, 2015 at her residence in Whitesboro, Texas.
Pansy was born on December 8, 1927 in Callisburg, Texas to Archie A. and Ona Mae (Springfield) Lacy. She married Ray Lemons on May 7, 1949 in Cooke County.
She is survived by her children: Billy Lemons and wife, Angie, of Whitesboro; Linda Gayle Calk and husband, Robert, of Tioga; Richard Lemons and wife, Jeania, of Whitesboro; Danny Lemons of Whitesboro; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Malena Stastny of Temple; and brother Arlie Lacy of Burleson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Lemons; son, Jerry Lemons; parents: Archie and Ona Lacy; brothers: Johnny Lacy and Chester Lacy; and sisters: Hazel Gray, Mildred Lacy, Margaret Weir, and Ruby Griffin.
