September 2, 1948 –  April 21, 2017  Funeral Services for Nancy L. Pinkston, 68 of Gordonville, Texas will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Gordonville, Texas with Rev. James Raffety officiating. Interment will follow at Gordonville Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 25th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home. Nancy passed away Friday, April 21st, at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas with her loving family by her side.Nancy was born to Joel W. and Juanita Coker in Dallas, Texas on September 2, 1948. She married Bobby Pinkston on December 29, 1970 in Mesquite, Texas. She and Bobby were married for 46 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas and received her Masters from the University of North Texas Denton, Texas. Nancy loved to quilt and taught several quilting classes through the years and was a member of several quilting clubs. Nancy taught school for 24 years and was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and was active in the National Council of Corvette Club for over 30 years. She was an animal lover and was a caregiver for several family members. Nancy always put everyone else first. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was loved by all.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Bobby Pinkston of Gordonville; daughter, Jennifer Dilmore of Colorado Springs, CO and a grandson, Adam Dilmore also of Colorado Springs and brother-in-law, Jimmy Pinkston of Edgewood.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joel and Juanita Coker and a brother, Bobby Coker.
