September 13, 1937 –  April 30, 2013  WHITESBORO ? Funeral services for Nancy Jean McGuire, 75, will be held Friday, May 3, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Ken Hildebrand officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, Texas. Visitation services will be held prior to the funeral on Friday, May 3, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She passed away on April 30, 2013 at her residence in Whitesboro, Texas.

Nancy was born on September 13, 1937 to Howard Dale and Hazel (King) Milliren in Rimersburg, PA. She married Art McGuire on November 9, 1956 in Rimersburg, PA. They were married for 56 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Whitesboro, Texas and a member of the Asbury Class. She loved to read and to do needlework.

She is survived by her husband, Art McGuire, of Whitesboro, TX; sons: David McGuire and wife, Melissa, of Coppell, TX; and Thomas McGuire and wife, Kimberlee, of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren: Katherine Myers, Christopher McGuire, Courtney McGuire and Jacob McGuire; and brother, Edward Milliren, of Searchlight, NV.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Hazel Milliren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the First United Methodist Church of Whitesboro.
