September 1, 1925 –  May 24, 2012  Mack Freeman , 86, passed away May 24, 2012 at Denton Rehab and Nursing Center. He was born September 1, 1925 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Duffie and Cinthia (Thompson) Freeman. Mack was a graduate of Sapulpa High School. He served in the US Army Air Force as a radio repairman and medic. He married Fay King September 29, 1979 in Gainesville. Mr. Freeman was a roustabout for Arco Oil before retiring. He loved to fish, read and work crossword puzzles.
Funeral Services for Mack Freeman will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 28th at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home with Rev Ed Gatlin, pastor of First Baptist Krum officiating. Interment with military honors will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 29th at South Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include wife, Fay Freeman of Krum; children and their spouses, Bob and Judy Wilhoit of Krum, Dena and John Cromer of Denton, Debbie and Jack Hanks of Krum; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several cousins. He was preceded in death by parents, Duffie and Cinthia Freeman; daughter, Sandra Williams and son, Wayne Wilhoit.
