February 24, 1923 – July 9, 2006 WHITESBORO รข?? Funeral services for John B. Bell 83, will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Ricky Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 P.M. Monday, July 10, 2006 at the funeral home.
Mr. Bell passed away Sunday, July 09, 2006 at his home in Whitesboro.
John was born on February 24, 1923 to Thomas Jefferson and Blanche E. (Ford) Bell in Marietta, OK. He married Annie B. Worley on November 30, 1946 in Rockwall, TX. John was a WWII veteran serving in the US Army Air Corps with the 351st Bomb Squadron in Polebrook, England.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Bell of Whitesboro; 3 sons, James Douglas Bell of Ft. Worth, John Alan Bell and wife Robin of Gainesville, Jeryl Lynn Bell and wife Patty of Whitesboro; and a daughter, Janis Ann Crawley and husband Joe of Aubrey; 4 grandsons Jeryl Lynn Bell, Jr., Jerrid Douglas Crawley, John Marcum Crawley and Taylor Ryan Bell; 5 granddaughters, Jaretta Bell, Jaclyn Bell, Casey Bell, Jennifer Crawley, Julie Jaresh and husband Jason and 1 great-grandson, Jayce Andrew Jaresh; 2 brothers, Charles E. Bell of Dallas and Thomas J. Bell, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV.
Pallbearers are: Taylor Ryan Bell, Jeryl Lynn Bell, Jr., John Marcum Crawley, Jerrid Douglas Crawley, Russell Ted Baca and Matthew Douglas Milner.
