March 3, 1961 – February 11, 2010 WHITESBORO รข?? Funeral Services for Jerry Wayne Pope, 48, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 15, 2010 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Larry Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery near Sandusky. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Jerry passed away on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
He was born on March 3, 1961 in Gainesville to James and Rita (Lynch) Pope. Jerry married Jennifer Johnson on May 5, 2006 in Dexter. He was a truck driver for Gainesville Fuel and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Pope of Whitesboro; a daughter, Devyn Johnson; 4 sisters, Carol of Sadler, Dina of Gainesville, Shelly of Mt. Pleasant, and Ruby of Sherman; and a brother, Jimmy of Washington State.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
