October 10, 1920 –  February 10, 2010  COLLINSVILLE รข?? Funeral services for Frances Hankamer, 89, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Natchez City Cemetery in Natchez, Mississippi. Visitation will be from 6 until 7 P.M. Friday, February 12, 2010 at the funeral home.
Frances passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at River Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville.

Frances Merle Campbell was born on October 10, 1920 in Meadville, Mississippi to Clarence and Betty (Magee) Campbell. She moved to Dallas at the age of 8 and spent most of her life there until she came to live in Collinsville near her daughter. Frances raised her children in Dallas and worked as a bookkeeper. Although she spent most all of her life in Texas, her heart remained in Natchez, Mississippi. She spent many childhood summers there with her family. Frances was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Eastern Star for many years. She loved to garden and could grow any type of plant from clippings. Frances also enjoyed reading and loved Dixieland music.

Survivors include her daughter, Martine Dove and husband Johnny, of Collinsville; daughter-in-law, Donna Baldwin, of Dallas; 2 granddaughters, Shannon Middleton and husband Greg, of Hewitt and Sherri Fairchild and husband Greg, of Mississippi and a niece, Patsy Campbell Collins, of Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Betty Campbell; a brother, Charles Campbell; and a son, Jim Baldwin.

Honorary pallbearers are Gene Henderson, Rick Hendricks, Tommy Leeper and Tom Roane.
