February 28, 1936 –  January 1, 2015  Funeral Services for Fay Adams will be held Monday, January 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Henderson officiating. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Nelson Grove Cemetery. She died January 1, 2015 in Gainesville, at the age of seventy-eight. Meador Funeral Home of Gainesville is in charge of arrangements.She was born to Tom Ed Crawford and Ida Mae (Day) Crawford February 28, 1936 in Gainesville, and raised near Woodbine, Texas. She was a hairdresser and loved to cook and prepare delicious meals for her family. At one time, she owned her own restaurant at Lake Texoma.
Survivors include 2 sons; David Adams and wife, Marleen and Ron Adams and wife, Deborah of Gainesville; 1 brother, Johnny Crawford of Gainesville, and 1 sister, Anna Mae Dornbush of Buda, Texas; 7 grandchildren, Keyla Daniel, Jaylynn Sullivan, Rina Hamilton, Derik Adams, Donovan Adams, Delton Adams, and Brandon Adams; numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Donnie Adams; sister, Norma Shelton and a brother, Jack Crawford.
