September 20, 1936 –  December 8, 2016  Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Ethel Marie Mozingo (80), passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016 at her residence in Gainesville. She was born September 20, 1936 to Martin Francis and Ethel Ophelia Mable (Miller) Walrath in Gainesville. She had worked as an operator for Southwestern Bell and a clerk for the City of Gainesville, retiring at the age of sixty-two. Ethel loved to sew and crochet baby blankets. She taught Sunday School at Calvary Baptist Church and also was a leader in Girl Scouts, Camp Fire Girls and Bluebirds. She also loved to dance.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 13th at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Callisburg Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 12th at Meador Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, David L. Mozingo of Gainesville; children, Janet Scivally and husband, Dale of Marietta, OK, Roy Charles Idell, Jr. and wife, Terry of Gainesville and Barbara Krebs and husband, Kenny of Lindsay; step-sons, Trent Mozingo and wife, Deann of Howe and Brent Mozingo and wife, Colleen of Austin; fourteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Ethel Walrath; husbands, Roy C. Idell and Joseph L. Kirby and brothers, Larry Walrath and Lloyd Walrath. http://videos.lifetributes.com/759052
