February 18, 1930 –  December 10, 2017  Elizabeth Janet “Betty” Lease, 87, passed away at her residence in Denton on Sunday, December 10, 2017. She was born February 18, 1930 in Hellam, Pennsylvania to the late Willis R. and Jennie Mae (Seitz) Miller. Betty married William Henry “Bill” Lease November 26, 1949 in York, PA. She was a homemaker and a seamstress. No funeral services have been planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Gainesville.She is survived by a son, Dennis Lease and wife, Sharon Rose, of Justin, TX; a daughter, Mary Diane Verone of Kernersville, NC; a granddaughter, Ivy Michelle Kern; one brother, Roy J. Miller of Spring Grove; six sisters, Alice Hinton of York, Mary Wambaugh of Gainesville, Norma Greenholt, Patricia Smith and Ruthanna Myers all of York and Sandra Zellers of Manheim. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lease was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Jenny Miller; husband, Bill Lease and a brother, Charles R. Miller.
