March 22, 1952 –  June 24, 2010  Funeral services for David William Patterson, 58, of Gainesville will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 30th at Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Yeager officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9-10 a.m.

Mr. Patterson died June 24, 2010 as a result of an automobile accident. He was born March 22, 1952 in Torrance, California and was a Gainesville resident since 1966. At the time of his death David was employed by the Gainesville Independent School District and the City of Gainesville Parks Department. He was previously employed by Schad and Pulte Welding Supplies for 32 years.

Mr. Patterson is survived by his son, Douglas Patterson of Harker Heights; son, Eric Patterson of Dallas; daughter Haylee Patterson of Dallas; brother Steve Patterson of Lake Kiowa; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Brenda Patterson of San Jose, California; nephew Andy Patterson of San Jose, California, niece; Emily Wooton of Portland, Oregon and niece, Becky King of Hawaii. He was preceded in death by his parents, W.R. and Roberta Patterson.
