January 15, 1932 –  December 17, 2013  SHERWOOD SHORES- Graveside services for Baudie “Pete” Romero, 81, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2013 at Liberty Cemetery in Gordonville, Texas. Under the direction of Meador Funeral Home on Whitesboro. Family visitation will be held from 6:00P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the funeral home.
Baudie passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at his home in Gordonville, surrounded by his family.

He was born on January 15, 1932 in Trinidad, Colorado to Leo and Rosie (Gerone) Romero. Baudie married “the love of his life” Roberta Mae Henderson on May 25, 1954 in Riverton, Wyoming. He served in the Wyoming National Guard as a Sergeant and he was painter, surveyor and a cowboy. Baudie was an amazing husband, father and grandpa. He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include; sons and daughter-in-laws, Lane and Viola Romero of Elk City, Oklahoma, Joy and Josette Romero of Sherwood Shores; daughters and son-in-laws, Elaine and Jeff Calhoun of Sherwood Shores, Doris Romero of Sherwood Shores, Trinie and Greg Tate of Sherwood Shores, Sheree and Cairl Tims of Sherwood Shores; brother, LeRoy Romero of Riverton, Wyoming; sisters, Esther Downey of Shoshoni, Wyoming, Margie Allington, Mary Romero and Annie Saunders of Riverton, Wyoming; 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, “honorary daughter, JJ” and many friends.

He was preceded in death by “his love” Roberta Romero; a son, Jimmy Leo Romero; a grandson, Stevie Martin; parents, Leo and Rosie Romero and 4 brothers.

Pallbearers are: Chris Jenkins, Arman Askari, Micheal Romero, Timmy Romero, Scotty Tims, Max Ranjel, Lane Romero and Heston Howell.

Honorary pallbearers are: Sherwood Shores Volunteer Fire Department.
