September 2, 1920 –  January 29, 2009  WHITESBORO-Graveside services for Alene Pike Worthington, 88, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. There will be no formal visitation.
Alene was born on September 2, 1920 in Sadler, Texas to Robert L. and Willie (Sikes) Pike. She passed away from this life on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Whitesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Survivors include a daughter, Lana Jean Widener of Benbrook and 5 grandsons.

Alene was preceded in death by her husband, Grady D. Worthington and a daughter, Jessie Graydene Patterson.
