November 9, 1936 – November 6, 2011 Graveside services for W.R. Hott (74), of Gainesville, will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 9th at New Hope Cemetery with Bro. Kevin Day, Pastor of Harvest Time Church of God officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 â?? 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Mr. Hott passed away November 6, 2011 at Pecan Tree Health and Rehab Center. He was born November 9, 1936 in Gainesville to Jewell and Lillian (Sims) Hott. W.R. married Sandra Jane Brundage February 17, 1960 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He served in the National Guard and was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad for thirty years. Mr. Hott also worked in Fort Worth for the Denver Railroad. He loved to hunt and tend to his cows.
W.R. Hott is survived by his wife of fifty years, Sandra Hott of Gainesville; sons, Tim Hott and wife, Pennye of Gainesville, Steve Hott and wife, Valerie of Gainesville, Randy Hott and girlfriend, Cheryl Sutton of Gainesville and David Hott of Yoakum; daughter-in-law, Karen Hott of Gainesville; grandchildren, Carrie, Ashley, Sandi, Leslie, Randi, Keaton and Savanah; five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; brothers, George Hott of Fort Worth and James Hott of Gainesville and sister, Georgia Ann â??Sisâ? of Mineral Wells. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two grandsons.
