Stephen Don Conner, 72, of Whitesboro, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 8. 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

Stephen was born on September 6, 1946 in Sherman, Texas to Joe Bailey and Naomi Lou (Perkins) Conner.  He served proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He was retired from WinStar Casino.  Stephen loved his family most of all, but also loved, fishing, hunting and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Fay Ramsey Conner of Whitesboro, two stepsons, Lloyd Ramsey of Longview, and Kyle Ramsey of Round Rock, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and brother, Dale Conner and wife, Joyce of Whitesboro.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Naomi Conner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Stephen’s honor to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.

Cremation arrangements will be under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
