Dear Cousins and families,
What a treasure your mama, Nana, was to you and us. She was a delight in so many ways. She was the most resilient person I might have ever known. She was the spunky sister who my Mama, Carol Sue, looked up to, she was the younger sister that protected Aunt Nancy, and my Mama, from neighborhood boys. She was the younger sister who admired Robby and Eva. She was the aunt who often made things fun and special. She was the mama who raised 3 kids in the ’70s which wasn’t easy. She was the Nana who was so proud of all of her grandchildren and loved them effortlessly. She wanted so much for each of you. Mostly she would want you to all know Jesus, I heard her pray for this and for many other things for you. She would probably tell you that life isn’t perfect, but to push on and believe God has your best in mind. She loved you all and we will all miss her.
We are so sorry for your loss.
