Ronnie Joe Leverett, 58, of Gainesville, Texas, passed away on January 30, 2019, at North Texas Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 2, 2019, at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is scheduled for 6 -8 pm, Friday, February 1, 2019, at Meador Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Nelson Grove Cemetery, Woodbine, following the funeral service. Ronnie was born on November 12, 1960, to Bobby Joe Leverett and Emma Gertrude Floyd in Gainesville, Texas. He married Kathy Cravens on December 15, 1977, in Woodbine, Texas, and they remained true to each other for over forty-one years. Ronnie loved farming, cattle and his grandchildren. He was truly a family man. He worked for Rowan Companies – Offshore Drilling for thirty-six years. He is survived by his wife Kathy; son, Josh Leverett; daughter, Misty Leverett and brother, Randy Leverett. Four grandchildren, Avery Leverett, Graham Leverett, Teagan Lindsay and Rumor Lindsay. Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends from all around the world. He will also be missed by his dogs Rookie and Molly.
