Robin David Foote, aged 72, passed away at home on September 4, 2024, in Gainesville, Texas.
Born on July 1, 1952, Robin led a life marked by creativity, a profound spiritual connection, and
a deep love for nature.
Robin graduated from Denton High School and later established a successful career as a self-employed contractor, where his ingenuity and hard work left a lasting impact on many homes
and communities. Beyond his professional life, Robin was an avid gardener, deeply invested in
permaculture, demonstrating his commitment to sustainable living. He also found great joy in
drumming, often gathering with friends to share in the rhythm and community spirit.
Robin is survived by his wife, Lynda Martin; children, Megan Foote, David Foote, and Jonathan
Foote; daughter-in-law, Wendy Foote; grandchildren, Liam and Lorelai Foote; siblings, Jamie
Foote, Jenny Forrest, and Linda Bradley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and
Ruth Thomas Foote, and his sister Valerie Meadows.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Robin can be made to Habitat for Humanity, an
organization that reflects his lifelong commitment to helping others build and improve their
homes. Robin will be remembered for his generous spirit, his warmth, and the profound impact
he had on those around him. His legacy will continue to inspire and influence many.
