Robert Fleitman 83 of Gainesville TX passed away December 26, 2023, in Gainesville.
Robert was born August 28, 1940, to Joseph Fleitman and Angeline (Bengfort) Fleitman in Myra, TX. He attended Sacred Heart School in Muenster, TX. He worked on the family farm in his younger years. Robert had a passion for Rodeo and rode bulls for several years. On May 13, 1967, he married Wanda Harendt.
He was a Truck Driver and a Welder for the majority of his life. He could fabricate and build almost anything with metal.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Fleitman; sons, Rex Fleitman and wife Amy, Wade Fleitman and wife Danetta; 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brothers; Paul, James, Daniel, Ray, and sister Clara Neusch.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Angie Fleitman and one Sister Dorthy Fleeman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday December 30, 2023, from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Meador Funeral Home, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas

Prayers for the family of Robert. I’ve known him for 60+ years. One of the toughest, hard working man I’ve ever been around. He drove for my dad for several years. Everyone loved him. A good , kind person!!
I want to offer my sympathy to Wanda, Rex, & Wade. I enjoy the lamps Robert made and we bought at an auction. I enjoyed his friendship.
