I was so heartbroken when I heard the news. I have wonderful memories of visiting her home. She was a beautiful aunt inside and out. I remember one of the last times I visited her she was washing dishes when I walked in. I have a fear of spiders and there was a black one on the ceiling. I told her and she turned around and said, “that’s okay; he’s a friend cause he eats bugs”. When she turned back to the sink, the spider dropped in front of me and I killed him. She was always happy and smiling. I will miss her laughter. Joel, Jil, Jay, and Judy; I so wish I could be there for you, but I can’t. You all are in my prayers and I love you! Kayla

This is Holly Shoemaker (daughter of Patsy Marple Nancy’s cousin and granddaughter of Lille Ikola) I was so saddened to hear of Nancy’s passing but I know she is dancing with Jesus and I’m sure with my sweet mother Patsy! My mother so loved Nancy and spoke of her often and their childhood adventures and fun together. Just days before my mother’s passing she and Nancy had a wonderful talk over the phone. I can still recall Nancy’s voice and the love they shared for each other. I know Nancy will be so missed but we will see her again – and that I know for sure! Our prayers and blessing are with the family. With all my love – Holly
