His traits still can be found in his sons.

Uncle Mugg will be truly missed, his sense of humor always reminded me of my daddy. I was fortunate to be able to visit with him in the last few years. He was a true patriot and a kind and caring man.
As a kiddo running around at get togethers at Aunt Hattie’s and Uncle Muggs’ I always liked to be near when Uncle Muggs was telling stories. Always exciting and often quite funny, his eyes would sparkle as he spun the tale. You could ask Uncle Muggs most any question and he’d know something about it….or certainly knew how to turn it into a teasing response if he didn’t. Going to see Aunt Hattie and Uncle Muggs was always a treat…fun times at the cabin at the lake. I remember Dad and Uncle Muggs standing in the lake out from the shore talking as we kids would paddle out to them and then go back to shore. We could go that far and no further. We will miss him here…but oh what sights he and Aunt Hattie are sharing together now. Love you Toni, Vince, and Blaine and the grandkids. Praying the Lord Jesus will hold you in His arms of love, comfort and peace.
So very sorry to hear of Mugg passing. He served with my grandpa in the 146th engineer combat battalion During WW2. He lived an amazing life and we all owe him a tremendous debt. My thoughts and prayers are with y’all.
