January 10, 1938 – August 17, 2014 Sherman – Funeral Services for Mary Margaret Williams, 76, will be held Thursday, August 21, 2014, at 10 a.m., in the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Bill Whitehead officiating. Interment will follow the services at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, Texas. Visitation services will be held on Wednesday, August 20, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.Mary passed away on August 17, 2014 in the Sherman Healthcare Center in Sherman, Texas.
She was born on January 10, 1938 to Jake Williams and Pauline Margaret (Sweeny) Williams in Queen City, Texas. She was a member of Share Ministries Church of Sherman, Texas. She also was a member of the Salvation Army. Mary enjoyed crochet, word search puzzles, and the board game, Yahtzee. She had lived in Sherman since 1960. She was a very loving and giving person. She never met a stranger and never turned anybody away.
She is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Benedict and husband, Darrell, of Sherman; daughter, Tanya Ames and husband, Steve, of Sherman; son, Louis Williams and wife, Jaime, of Luella; son, Paul Williams and wife, Susan, of Anna; son, Terry Williams, of Sherman; son, Jerry Williams, of Longview; and son, Michael Williams, and wife, Janet, of Sherman; 25 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren; as well as her sisters: Margie Tyler and her husband, Robert, of Gainesville; Phyllis Hancock of Wichita Falls; and Candice Slater of Whitney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Louis Williams; her parents, Jake Williams and Pauline Baker; her daughter, Marilyn Langham; granddaughter, Taylor Williams; grandson, Ethan Michael Williams; great-grandson, Roman Williams; and her sister, Devonna Davidson.
The pallbearers will be Louis Williams, Paul Williams, Michael Williams, Jeremy Williams, Dustin Williams, and Steve Ames. The honorary pallbearers will be Tracy Graves, Danny Robison, and Ronnie Robison. http://videos.lifetributes.com/517191
