Mary Francis Hawkins, 74, of Amarillo, Texas, formerly of Sadler, Texas, was called to her eternal home on Thursday, June 13, 2024.

Mary was born on July 16, 1949 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Tony and Ruby (Bluxson) Hutchison.  She attended school in Amarillo and worked for many years at BSA Hospital in Amarillo.  She married Perry Hawkins in Whitesboro on February 17, 1996.  Mary enjoyed playing Bingo and working word search puzzles.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Ramsey, daughter, Connie Holland, son, Dallas Williams, son, John Flowers, son, Stephen Flowers, grandchildren, Ashlie Williams, Mackenzie Harris, Mason Williams, Gracie Williams, Shannon Flowers, Tyler Miller, Alethea Holland, Mindy Ramsey, and Hunter Flowers, sister, Clydella Upshaw, brother, Tommy Marler, and brother, Daryl Hutchinson.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Hawkins, parents, Tony and Ruby Hutchison, grandson, John Ramsey, brother, John Hutchison, and sisters, Thomasine, Earlene, Josephine, Saleta, and Geraldine.

Funeral services honoring Mary will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro, officiated by Rev. Joe Patterson.  Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Sandusky.  No formal visitation is scheduled.
