Mary Ann Cox, 87, of Collinsville, Texas was called home to her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 7, 2024.
Mary Ann was born on February 23, 1937 in Collinsville, Texas to Cleo and Birdie (Hunt) Worthy. She married Grady Cox in Collinsville on March 8th, 1956. She was a loving and caring woman who loved nothing better than taking care of her family. She was a faithful member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Collinsville. Mary enjoyed bowling and doing ceramics, her greatest joy was her Lord and her family.
She is survived by her husband, Grady Cox of Collinsville; son, Steve Cox of Denton; son, Randall Cox of Collinsville; son, Jeffrey Cox of Sherman; grandchildren, Steven Cox Jr., Michael Cox, Corey Morrison, and Zachary Cox, as well as numerous great-grandchildren.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo and Birdie Worthy, grandson, Brendan Cox, brother, William Worthy, sister, Katherine Sprayberry, sister, Nadine Sprayberry, and sister, Marie Parchert.
Pallbearers will be Steven Cox Jr., Michael Cox, Cason Cox, Corey Morrison, Zachary Cox, and Zander Cox.
Funeral services honoring Mary Ann will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro, officiated by Rev. Barry Roberts. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Collinsville. No formal visitation is scheduled.

Mary Ann was a such a kind person, and a loving grandmother. My thoughts are with her family, may she is rest in peace.
