June 24, 1942 –  December 22, 2017  COLLINSVILLE – Funeral services for Lola Beth Thomas, 75, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Ricky Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Little Elm Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Lola passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.
She was born on June 24, 1942 in Whitesboro to Edward M. and Louise King. Lola married Chester Thomas on February 21, 1964 in McKinney. She was retired from the Frisco I.S.D. Lola enjoyed listening to audio books. She dearly loved her family and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include a son, Cole B. Thomas of Allen; three grandchildren, Cody Thomas, Craig Thomas, and Christian Thomas; three great-grandchildren, Hailey, Daisy, and Destiny; three brothers, Bobby King of Collinsville, Kenneth King of Collinsville, and Keith King of Denton; two sisters, Linda Jurecka and husband, Frankie of Collinsville, and Sandra Williams and husband, Donald of Collinsville; two aunts, Jean Harmon, and Glenda Cagle; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Louise King; husband, Chester Thomas; and a brother, Dr. Wayne King.
