Linda Rush Case, 73, of Whitesboro, Texas was called to her eternal home on Sunday, June 28, 2020.
Linda was born on August 9, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to Ralph Leonard Rush Jr.and Tootsie (Saigling) Rush. She grew up in Plano, Texas. In eighth grade she began attending The Hockaday School in Dallas, a private preparatory school for girls, she transferred to San Marcos Academy for her high school years, where she was a cheerleader. Linda was of the Christian faith, she loved gardening and anything to do with the outdoors.
She is survived by her daughter, D’Ann Caffey and husband, Keith of Sadler; grandson, Justin Caffey and wife, Joezy of Valley View, TX; grandson, Jerrid Caffey and wife, Kaci of Hallsville, TX; great-grandchildren, Case, Oakley and Karly, mother, Tootsie Rush of Alba, TX; sister, Pat Mayfield and husband, Jackie of Alba, TX; brother, Len Rush and wife, Garlinda of Greenville, TX; half-brother, James Rush and wife Carol of Houston, TX; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Leonard Rush Jr., her son, Duane Case, and grandparents, Felicia and Walter Saigling and Virginia and Ralph Rush Sr.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Linda Rush Case to San Marcos Alumni Scholarship fund at 2801 Ranch Rd. 12 San Marcos, TX 78666 or to the American Cancer Society at donate3.cancer.org.
A memorial service honoring Linda will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
