Larry Albert Reynolds
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Larry Albert Reynolds from Whitesboro, Texas on March 16, 2025 at the age of 87.
Services will be held at the First Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 2:00 pm, Gainesville, Texas. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas. Pallbearers will be grandsons; Ryan Reynolds, Justin Reynolds, Tye Reynolds, James Pearson, Gary Tracy, Rusty Shell and Curtis Boaz.
Larry was born July 10, 1937 in Gainesville, Texas to Clarence Douglas Reynolds and Edith Marie Davis. He married Nona B. Bowling April 16, 1956. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church. Larry enjoyed music, playing his guitar, working on old cars and having fun with his family.
He worked in his younger years at Linda Jo Shoe company and at Boyd Ware Concrete Company. He was a school bus maintenance worker and had his own welding business with three trucks, road grader and gravel truck. He retired from all of them to spend more time with his family.
Larry is survived by his wife, Nona; children, Ronnie Reynolds & wife, Belinda of Collinsville, Texas; daughter, Sue Johnson & husband, David of Whitesboro, Texas and son, Roger Reynolds & wife, Donna of Whitesboro, Texas; sister, Dovie Latham of Sherman, Texas; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C. D. and Edith Reynolds; sisters, Jolene Parker, Kay Underwood and brother, C. D. (Sonny).

I am so sorry to hear about Larry. My Mom and Dad thought the world of him. Mom said he was like the brother she never had. Condolences to Nona and the family.

Larry was one of my first backhoe operator at Traloc Construction. He was much liked by his fellow workers and the customers he worked for. We used to meet occasionally after Traloc closed but I regret that I lost touch with him. My condolences to his family.
Uncle Larry always had a story and loved to visit. We will miss him. Prayers for Aunt Sue and the family.

Uncle Larry was my Hero! He and Aunt Nona prayed for and with me and was he a Godly example to follow. He had some amazing stories. My favorite was when he came to start living for Jesus. I will hold you close in my memories Great Uncle Larry.
