Jon Stacey Noble, 64, of Lake Kiowa, Texas passed away December 30, 2023, in Denton. Born in Chicago, Jon was educated at St. John’s Military Academy (1977) and also Carthage College (2003). His whole career took shape in one industry: industrial refrigeration. A deft mechanic, well versed in engineering principles and commercial realities, Jon Noble was at his best solving a puzzle, finding a solution. He had a thing for detail and treated machines better than some treat jewelry. He was a man of enduring friendships and deep commitments, a loner who was seldom alone. Long-time member of Porsche Club of America, Jon Noble was a talented mechanic who loved sports cars, and vintage racing cars in particular. He left unfinished the restoration of a Formula V open wheel racer.
Jon Noble is survived by his brother Mike Noble, his nephew Carl and sister-in-law Karen.

Jon was a mentor and pseudo big brother to me, and I’ll miss him dearly. We made some awesome memories and I’ll have those all of my days. Anytime a see a Nissan 240z, listen to Supertramp, Bob Seeger or the James Gang I’ll look up and smile. We’re both SJMA alumni and worked together at Howe Corporation. He was part of our family for many years and my parents loved him as I did. RIP my brother! Laborare, Ludere, Orare
Jon was a true friend to me for many years. We had lots of good times together, including road trips, delicious meals at home and just cruising around on his golf cart. He always made me laugh and I’ll never forget his laugh. RIP dear friend
