December 6, 1933 –  June 12, 2016  Joe Arnold Loper, 82, passed away June 12, 2016 at his residence in Valley View. He was born December 6, 1933 in Cayuga, Texas, the son of L.J. and Audrey (Alexander) Loper. Joe was a master machinist by trade.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 16th at Grace Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Ledbetter officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Loper of Valley View; sons, Barry Loper and wife, Holly of Corinth, James York and wife, Tammy of Valley View and Curtis York, Jr. and wife, Tonya of Cleburne; daughters, Leah Brown of Chandler, Belinda Johnson and husband, Rick of Krum and Christine Wheeler of Valley View; brothers, Carl Loper and wife, Nelda of Canton, Doyle Loper and wife, Barbara of Malakoff and Terry Loper of Athens; eleven grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ray Loper.
