The family of Jason Scott Norvell mournfully announce his passing on April 11, 2022. Jason was born on February 11, 1975, in Irving, Texas. He was the youngest son of Carroll Wayne and Beverly Jeane Norvell. Jason is survived by his mother, Beverly, brother Keith, sister Tiffany; as well as, his beloved nieces Morgan and Charlie, and nephew Mattox. He is preceded in death by his dad, Carroll Wayne. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends share in the family’s loss.

On the surface, Jason may have seemed to many as leading a simple life. To him, his life’s joy was his close family. At a young age, he reveled in learning & keeping up with his older siblings. As his nieces & nephew came along, he took so much joy in caring for them. He loved with his whole heart, and his family fully felt his quiet care. Whether it was a simple pat on his mom’s shoulder, a big teddy bear hug squeeze, a deep conversation, or a great joke, Jason showed his love every day.

Jason had an eclectic taste in music, hobbies, and interests which kept his mind sharp and his face always smiling. He loved to sit around a fire telling stories and would always be ready for someone to challenge him in a game of pool. He will be deeply missed by so many more than he even knew.

The family is holding visitation services on Friday, April 15th at 6:00pm at Meador Funeral Home in Gainesville, Texas. Funeral to be held on Saturday, April 16th at 11:00am also at Meador Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, Jason’s family requests donations to Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter, or the American Cancer Society.
