James Victor Myers, 63, of Denison, Texas was called to his eternal home on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

James was born on December 5, 1960 in Houston, Texas to James Parrish and Betty Lou (Skaggs) Myers.   James was a truck driver by trade, he enjoyed driving over the roads on long hauls, He loved music and played the guitar and sang.  He was a devoted family man, he cherished his son and granddaughter very much, as well as his friends and his dogs, Sam and Little Bit.

He is survived by his son, Colton Myers of Denison, granddaughter, Norah Anders, sister, Beverly Deitz and husband, Robert, stepson, Shea Nanney, niece, Kara Long and husband, Derek, great-nieces and nephews, Harrison Clark, Ruby Clark, Marion Clark, Ada Long, Johnathon Long, Emi Long and Kate Long, as well as numerous friends that he has left behind.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty Myers.

A memorial service honoring James will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
