James Roy Prator Jr., 25, of Whitesboro, Texas was called to his eternal home on Tuesday, August 6, 2019.
JR was born on January 10, 1994 in Dallas, Texas to James and Shawna (Gaskins) Prator. He was a Christian man who loved his family and especially his baby girl Olivia. He worked in construction for many years and in his downtime, he enjoyed reading, skate boarding, biking and tattooing. JR also enjoyed playing sports he loved football, baseball and karate.
He is survived by his parents, James Prator and wife, Jodi of Gainesville and Shawna Gaskins of Whitesboro, daughter, Olivia Prator of Sherman, sister, Camille Gaskins of Abilene, sister, Demi Rae Prator of Gainesville, brother, Kennie Lane Prator of Gainesville, grandmother, Charlotte Foster of Whitesboro, grandmother, Patricia Brandenberger of Whitesboro, grandpa, Ron Prator of Whitesboro, and grandpa, Keith Moncrief of Sherwood Shores, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Eddie Foster and great-grandmother, Mary Gaskins.
Graveside Services for JR will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 12, 2019 at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, officiated by Rev. Rick Carney. A time of visitation for friends and family will be held at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Fly high buddy. You will be truly missed, by so many different people it’s unreal. Say hi to pops for me. Hey and do you remember what we use to say. See you on the other side but don’t bust a dime. Much love
