James Michael Sutter,71, of Gainesville, TX passed away on February 25, 2025, at the North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Gainesville. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

James was born on October 29, 1953, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Vern Sutter and Mary Schrader Sutter. He was a truck driver for many years. He loved the outdoors and going camping with his family. James liked to grill his favorite foods and had a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife Gloria Sutter of Gainesville; son Michael Sutter; daughters Angela Godi and Shanae Eaton; grandchildren, Tristan, Val, Ethan and Merrie; siblings Randy, Heather, Wayne, Jackie and Richard.

James is preceded in death by his parents Vern and Mary Sutter.
