Gloria June Reeves, 83 of Valley Mills, Texas passed away on March 6, 2025. She was born in Gainesville, Texas on June 8, 1941, to Frank M. Estes and Dorothy Lee Terry. She graduated from Gainesville High School in 1959 and also attended NCTC, formerly Cooke County and North Texas College as a Music Major. Gloria married Robert Reeves in Gainesville Texas on November 25, 1960.
Gloria was a member of Valley Mills Church of Christ, Chairman of her Garden Club, and Eastern Star member. She loved to restore antiques, music, singing, collecting dolls, reading the Bible and was a music major, a very talented singer and pianist. Gloria was a homemaker, and Mother. She retired from the State of Texas Food stamp/Child Protective Services program.
Gloria is survived by husband, Robert L. Reeves of Valley Mills, Texas; daughter, Elisha Thompson & husband, John of Gilmer, Texas; son, Ken Reeves & wife, Christine of Valley Mills, Texas; 6 grandchildren: Amanda Creswell, Kenton Weaver, Cassie Jones, Dustin Reeves, Colton Reeves and Brandon Reeves, 11 great-grandchildren; nieces, Donna Finley and Lisa Estes; nephew, Stephen Hatcher.
Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Dorothy Estes; brother, Jerry Estes and sister, Mary Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 1:00 pm with service to begin at 2:00 pm, Meador Funeral Home, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas.

Many good memories of Mrs. Reeves. Beautiful lady!! She and Mr. Reeves made quite an impact on who I grew up to be and am. I greatly appreciate the efforts and patatience they had with me.
