March 12, 1956 –  December 7, 2016  A Funeral Service for Regina Gail Sanders Hiser, 60, of Sherman, Texas, will be held Friday, December 9, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, Whitesboro, Texas, with Rev. Tony Aureus officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro, Texas. Regina passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Woodlands Place Rehab in Denison, Texas.She was born to Jack and Veta (Gaskin) Sanders on March 12, 1956 in Dallas, Texas. Regina graduated from Whitesboro High School and worked as a registered nurse at Texoma Medical Center, Wilson N. Jones Hospital and at several Dallas hospitals. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sherman, Texas. She loved her family and had many close friends. Regina was a member of the Legion of Mary and enjoyed reading her bible with the company of her fur baby kittens. Pallbearers will be Andy Meals, Rex Rue, Terry Bomar, Jerry Patterson, Kevin Stofle and Dayton Hawkins.
She is survived by her parents, Jack and Veta Sanders of Whitesboro, Texas; son, Sam Hiser and companion, Jana Russell of Sherman and a brother, Dennis Sanders of Whitesboro, Texas.
