Florinda Flores Cristan, 76, of Gainesville, Texas passed away on March 9, 2024, at her home with her family.  She was born on September 9, 1947, in Robstown, Texas to Lorenzo Flores and Emilia Flores.  Florinda loved going to the casinos, get-togethers with family at BBQ’s, shopping and looking at all kinds of purses.  Florinda married Reyes C. Cristan in McKinney, Texas on August 31, 1973.  She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and loved helping people, anyone in need.  Florinda also loved music, Elvis Presley, and watching her Novelas and loved to play Knock.

Survivors include daughter, Trinidad Salazar; son, Johnny Flores; son, Reyes Cristan, Jr.; daughter, Virginia Simmons; son, Danny Cristan; sister, Susana Peña; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2023, from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas.
