Edith Evorie Graham, 108, of Collinsville, Texas was called home to a joyous reunion in Heaven on December 31, 2022.
Evorie was born on March 28, 1914 in Grayson County to James B. and Bonnie (Phillips) King. She married J.L. “Bill” Graham on July 8, 1933. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville. Evorie was a wonderful seamstress and homemaker, she made the best pies, and she enjoyed eating those pies! She loved to sing and play piano; she played piano at the Collinsville Care Center for over 20 years and sang in a trio with her sister-in-law Susie for over 40 years. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Cherry Woolsey and husband, Rogers of Gainesville; son Glenn Graham and wife, Ruby of Collinsville; grandchildren, Derek Woolsey and wife, Holly of Fort Worth; Damon Woolsey of Sadler; Barry Woolsey of Gainesville; Kendall Clark and wife, Susan of Azle; and Shauna Harendt and husband, Jason of Whitesboro, great-grandchildren, Callie and Michael McDonald, Kalen Clark; great-great-grandchild, Briggs McDonald; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Evorie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bonnie King, husband, Bill Graham, brother, Elwin King, sister, Ruby Cobler, granddaughter, Glenita Graham and great-grandson, Fletcher Harendt.
Funeral Services honoring Evorie will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Collinsville, officiated by Rev. Jerry Davis. Interment will follow at Collinsville Cemetery. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

We loved Evorie. She was quite the caricature. Loved her story telling. What a wonderful long life We should all be so luckie. God blessed her for sure.
Last time I talked to her was at the $G and asked her something about Collinsville and she told me she didn’t grow up here.. lol She was one cool chick!
I grew up with Miss Evorie. I always rooted for her in the game of 42. She had a wonderful long life. God blessed her tremendously. Thoughts and prayers to the family in this time of need. I will always remember her.
