Dustin Henry Weaver was born February 1st, 1972 in Denison, Texas and passed away on April 19, 2020 in Denton, Texas. He was the son of Danny and Dianne Weaver who have preceded him in death. Dustin was the youngest of five children, one sister Delena Jacobs and three brothers Daniel Weaver (deceased), David Weaver, and Derrick Weaver. Dustin moved to Callisburg in 3rd grade and graduated Callisburg High School in 1990. After graduating he joined the United States Navy and served four years in San Diego, California where he met the love of his life, Elizabeth Weaver, who was a native of California. They got married March 20, 1992 and have been married for 28 years. After serving he located back to Callisburg, Texas and had two children, Jorden Weaver and Kaylie Weaver. Son, Jorden married Theresa Barnett and has one grandchild, Daniel Weaver, and has one grandson on the way.
Dustin has served on the Board of Trustees for Callisburg ISD for the last 8-10 years. He always made the comment he bleeds maroon, that being the Callisburg Wildcat school color. He was very dedicated to the students and teachers and loved his community. Anybody who knew Dustin knew he was a die-hard Cowboys fan no matter the win or loss. The most important thing to Dustin was the dedication and love he had for his family.
We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of Dustin and send our deepest sympathies. Sending prayers for strength and comfort to all the family. God Bless and if we can help in any way, please let us know.
Dusty was just a toddler when first met him in 74. I lost contact with him and his family – finally reconnecting due to FaceBook. Fond memories of the entire family going to the stock car races where his father, Dan, raced. What a reunion there is going on in heaven! My deepest prayers and sympathies to his wife, children and their families, his brothers and sister and their families, and extended family. May God Bless you and bring you peace.
I know he did bleed maroon. We would talk for a few minutes every time I saw him and since he and I both live in Callisburg and I working at the school and he being on the board our conversation would naturally steer toward the community and school things. He would be excited about an event that was coming up at school or he would ask if I had seen or talked to someone we both knew from Callisburg. He would always make me laugh every time I talked to him. He had a common sense straight approach to things that I loved but make no mistake he was an intelligent guy and I was glad he was on the board of Callisburg ISD for so long. He was a person that made Callisburg a great place to be from.
Rest in peace to my fellow Wildcat.
To Liz, Jorden, Kaylie, and the entire Weaver family I am so very sorry for your loss.
You are in my families thoughts and prayers.
We are so very sorry to hear of the loss of Dusty. He had such an infectious smile and personality and was a friend to many. We pray each one of you will find comfort and strength in the days to come. Sincerely, Don & Linda Tooley
I’ll miss you, bud!
We are so sorry for your loss. Dusty was one of my favorites in school, he will be missed greatly.
GREAT MAN!!
I remember 2 adays with Dusty and both of us joining the NAVY. He was tough as nails but always had a smile. Fair winds and following seas Shipmate.
