Dorothy Jo Selder, 89, of Gainesville, Texas passed away on June 22, 2021.  She was born on September 7, 1931 in Monkstown, Texas to James L. Wilkins and Mildred L. (Walker) Wilkins.

Dorothy is survived by: sons, Wayne Selder and wife, Dorothy of Gainesville, Texas; Barry Don Selder and wife, Tanya of Forestburg, Texas; 6 grandchildren, Leslie Newton and husband, Richard of Sanger, Texas, Bryan Selder and wife, Melissa of Gainesville, Texas;  Christy Selder of Gainesville, Texas, Kelly Selder of Gainesville, Texas, Molly Metcalf of Forestburg, Texas, Megan Metcalf of Forestburg, Texas; 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Preceded in Death: parents, husband, James Weston Selder, sisters, Thelma Austin, Barbara Sue Mann and Margaret Joy; brother, James D. Wilkins.

Services are as follows:  Visitation – Friday, June 25, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, 1204 E. California St, Gainesville, Texas. Funeral Services – Saturday, June 26, 2021 from at 2:00 pm, Meador Chapel with Interment following at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas.  Pastor Phillip A. Weitner will be officiating. Pallbearers will be, Barry Selder, Bryan Selder, Dalton Pence, Michael Pence, Richard Newton and Sammy Smith.  Honorary, Colton Selder.
