Donna Jean Dutton, 67, of Collinsville, Texas was called to her eternal home on Friday, November 26, 2021.
Donna was born on September 20, 1954 in Holtville, California to Bill and Roberta (Hull) Underwood. She had a passion for caring for and supporting children. She was able to use her love of kids by working for Whitesboro and Collinsville school districts. Her students were a big part of her life. Donna was the rock in her family and was always there for her children and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very loving and caring person.
She is survived by her husband, Lester Dutton; son, Kenny Dutton, daughter, Traci Walker and significant other, Mark Slay and son, Chris Dutton; grandchildren, Erika Lahr, Colton Lahr and wife, Bailey; Harlee Walker and significant other, Lane Garrard, Payton Dutton, Trinity Dutton; great-grandchildren, Zalen Dutton, Brantley Lahr, and Henslee Garrard; brother, Tommy Underwood and wife, Carol; sister, Kathy Bratcher and husband, Larry; and aunt, Martha Railey.
Donna was preceded in death by her father, Bill Underwood and her mother and stepfather, Roberta and Earl Buck Cecil, and brother, John Underwood.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. The family will host a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.

Donna touched a lot of hearts, mine included. She was such a special person! My heart is hurting today but I know she is not suffering and is at peace.

Donna took care of my kids at The Playhouse. She was always patient and loving to them. She will be missed. Prayers for her family.

Please know I am praying for your family. Donna was such a wonderful person who took care of some many. A great example of always putting others first. You can all be very proud of the amazing legacy she has left.
I am so sorry for your loss. I wasn’t able to attend the services. My daddy was dieing and all I could think of was myself, momma and him. I understand the loss of someone you love. God bless you and hold you in the hard days.
