David “Ronnie” Murray, 83 of Gainesville, Texas passed away on November 10, 2024 with his family by his side. He was born on November 6, 1941 in Gainesville, Texas to Ossie Murray and Jewel (Molphus) Murray. He attended Gainesville ISD and was a Chemist for Southland Paint. Ronnie married Nancy Melton on December 3, 1960. He was a member of the Cooke County Cowboy Church in Gainesville, Texas.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Nancy Murray; grandchildren, Lyndsy Murray, Tanner Tolleson and Kadi and Cody Roberds; brother, Phillip Murray and wife, Nancy; sister, Linda Marion; 7 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by 2 daughters, Rhonda and Lisa Murray.
Visitation will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 with service to follow at 11:00 am at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas with Rev. David Whittington. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas.

Your quick wit always made me laugh at church or wherever we would run into each other with Nancy always by your side ♥️. Y’all were the sweetest couple around!!😁.
