Dave Franklin Westbrook, 85 of Plano, Texas passed away on July 7, 2022. He was born on June 22,1937 in Gainesville, Texas to Edgar Westbrook and Jewel (Johnson) Westbrook. Dave was a member of the Church of Christ and a dedicated Police Officer for Gainesville, Texas. He loved to hunt and fish, loved his church, and read the Bible every day. Dave loved his family, loved to travel and was also a strong, hardworking man.

Dave is survived by his daughters, Paula K. Grund of Plano, Texas and Dava Feuer of Houston, Texas; stepchildren, Tammy Rivera, Terry Proffer and Sheree Shobe; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Aldon Westbrook of Rising Star, Texas and Doyle Westbrook of Callisburg, Texas; sister, Janette Westbrook Sartor from Abilene, Texas; also, several nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

Preceded in death by wife, Margaret Westbrook, brother, Eugene Westbrook, sister, Aliene Belknap, parents, Edgar and Jewel Westbrook, nephews, Mack Westbrook, and Dee Westbrook.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Meador Funeral Home, Hwy 377, Whitesboro, Texas. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Meador Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Dixie Cemetery, Whitesboro, Texas.
